It Takes a Village

In addition to our regular focus on the artists and teachers, we wanted to cast a light of appreciation on the many creative forces that work behind the scenes to make our albums and teaching material possible. From our producers and filmmakers to our designers and musicians, Spirit Voyage is blessed to have such a wonderful and diverse community of talent as part of our creative family.

One of our closest partners is Prana Projects. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Prana Projects is a husband and wife team of Ditta and Alessandra Khalsa. True to their name, Prana Projects breathes a “vital life force” into nearly every aspect of Spirit Voyage, with a creative hand in projects ranging from album art to catalog design and nearly everything in-between. Both of Spirit Voyage’s recent video releases (Snatam Kaur’s “Path of Peace” and “Shanti the Yogi”) were produced by Prana Projects and we look forward to collaborating with them on several upcoming yoga DVDs in 2009.

Another wonderfully talented member of the family is Krishan from Open Mind Creations (www.omcreations.com). Krishan produced Snatam’s latest two releases, “Live in Concert” and “Feeling Good Today!” as well as the GuruGanesha favorite, “Pure Ganesh”. It is always a pleasure working with Krishan as he has an ideal balance of skill, creativity, patience and attention to detail. Most importantly, he produced beautifully produced music that we can be proud to put our label’s name on.
